Society “Monitoring and Evaluation” Workshop for Thai Cancer Control Organizations

As part of the “Global Health Partnership” program, Pfizer Thailand Foundation has partnered with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to implement the “Thailand Cancer Control Matching Fund” project. The 3-year project, started in 2008, aims to improve capacity of local cancer organization in the area of funding, project implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation.
 
Recently, the Foundation together with ACS organized the workshop on “Monitoring and Evaluation” at the Queen Sirikit Center for Breast Cancer, Chulalongkorn Hospital. An ACS Regional Evaluation Specialist, 

Ms. Marita Gaudario from the Philippines, was invited to the event to share knowledge M&E Principles & Methodologies. The total of 23 representatives from 5 cancer control organization participated and learned techniques to strengthen their monitoring and evaluation skills, which are important aspects in delivering quality programs for the benefits of cancer patients in Thailand.
