Pfizer Thailand Foundation shares its view of “social responsibility” under topic “Graduate’s Social Responsibility in the Eye of Employer”

 “Sense of social responsibility couldn’t be looked into textbook, yet can be touched by practice little by little establishing exploration and influence. We believe in such notion and make it happen to our Pfizer Thailand Foundation’s scholars; we drive our recipients to conduct social service activities for at least 16 hours in a year. Pointing out today they are playing a part of receivers from the Foundation, we cultivate them to make a great giver out of themselves. We hope this small step has social responsibility awareness emerged in all the spirits of brand new graduates assisting them to know how to give back to the society and the underprivileged.”

July 31 - Pfizer Thailand Foundation was honored by being invited to join national conference “University Social Responsibility, USR” hosted by Office of the Higher Education Commission and Higher Education Network for the Development of Thai Ideal Graduates of the Central Region, and Chadrakasem Rajabhat University. Representing the Foundation was Ms. Kluaymai Nuchniyom, Trustee and Secretariat who acted as a keynote speaker to the dialogue “Graduate’s Social Responsibility in the Eye of Employer”
 
“We see social responsibility is a matter at hand to which we all, individuals and organizations, should pay attention. Pfizer’s outlook towards social contribution is to run business with good corporate governance, holding on to code of professional conduct – a principle of responsible citizen. Apart from this, social service practiced by Pfizer Thailand Foundation is also what we give precedence to. We simply execute our expertise believing the activities truly hand out full advantage to society and there is no place for superficiality. The Foundation always carries out social service activities with constancy thus,” said Ms. Kluaymai.
 
In addition, another 2 honored keynote speakers attended the seminar moderated by Ms. Praweenamai Baicloy, i.e., Mr. Suthipong Thammawut from TV Burabha Co., Ltd. and Dr. Prawit Wairungruengkul from C.P. Consumer Products Co., Ltd. More than 1,000 teacher staff and students of higher education institutions participated this panel discussion.
